Rankings<\/h1>\n

The University of Nicosia (UNIC) has been named among the top 501-600 universities in the world, according to the 2023 edition of the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings. One of the core areas in which the University excelled is International Outlook, where UNIC ranked 47th worldwide.<\/p>\n

The 2022 Times Higher Education (THE) University Impact Rankings, ranked the University of Nicosia (UNIC) as the number 36 university in the world in the core area of Quality Education, and among the top 401-600 universities globally in terms of its overall social and economic impact.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The University of Nicosia\u2019s official student residences redefine modern student living. They consist of three separate complexes \u2013 SIX, U and TRIANGLE \u2013 which are among the most stunning student accommodations ever constructed in Europe. UNIC Residences provide a multitude of dining, relaxing and entertainment options for residents, including 6 restaurants and cafes, an exclusive rooftop bar and lounge, gyms, TV rooms, games areas and more. Located in the upscale neighbourhood of Makedonitissa, in Nicosia, the residences are surrounded by UNIC\u2019s vibrant, urban campus that, in addition 20 university buildings, is home to more than 40 restaurants, coffee shops, pubs and bars, all within walking distance.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Tuition Fees & Scholarships<\/h1>\n

The yearly tuition fees for this programme (Academic Year 2023-2024) are EUR 9,420.<\/p>\n

UNIC offers financial aid and a number of scholarships based on academic merit, athletic performance and\/or financial needs.<\/p>\n

Admissions Criteria<\/h1>\n
\n

Applications for admission to the programme will be considered only from candidates that fulfil the minimum entrance criteria as described below:<\/p>\n

\u2022 17\/20 at high school leaving certificate and 17\/20 in Chemistry and Biology (subjects of choice) \u03bfr equivalent grades (i.e I.B)<\/p>\n

OR<\/p>\n

\u2022 17\/20 High School leaving certificate and GCE A 'Level (or I.A.L) in Chemistry and Biology with Grade B<\/p>\n

OR<\/p>\n

\u2022 Upon success to the entry exams (Chemistry and Biology) organized by the University of Nicosia for candidates with at least 15\/20 in the high school leaving certificate and at least 15\/20 in Chemistry and Biology \u03bfr equivalent grades.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Upon successful completion of the foundation semester where students must take four courses (Introduction to Organic and Biological Chemistry PHAR-020, Elements of Biology PHAR-010, Physics for Pharmaceutical Sciences (PHAR-110) and Pharmacy Calculus (PHAR-107) for candidates with grades lower than 15\/20 and higher than 13\/20 in Chemistry and Biology. Candidates must succeed grades no lower than 75% in all courses.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Graduates from other related fields like Chemistry, Medicine, Veterinary, Biology, Nursing etc can be admitted to the program. Evaluation for credit transfer is performed on a case by case basis. The maximum credits which can be transferred cannot exceed 150 ECTS. Same rule applies to Pharmacy transfer students from other accredited and recognized University.<\/p>\n

\u2022 The admissions process includes an interview with the candidate.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
